By Road:

If you are driving into Liverpool or Birkenhead by Motorway - click on the ‘Motorway map’ link (left) for reference.

If you are coming via Liverpool, follow the signs for Liverpool City Centre and Birkenhead Tunnel (Queensway Tunnel). When you exit the tunnel take a sharp left (almost a U-turn) and use the single toll-booth (signposted Birkenhead Docklands). The toll is £1.30, you will need the exact change as this toll is un-manned. Exit the toll and take the first left after the lights (Market Street). Continue to the end of Market Street and turn left into Hamilton Street (one-way system). Keep to the right hand lane and continue around the corner to the next set of lights. Turn right into Argyle Street (A522). Continue to the next set of lights and turn right into Hamilton Square. We are no. 43 on the right.

If you are travelling in via the M53, exit the motorway at junction 3. Turn right at the big roundabout following signs for the A552 to Birkenhead. Stay on the A552 following signs for the Mersey Ferries. You will eventually arrive at Argyle Street (see street map). Turn right at the junction of Argyle Street and Price Street into Hamilton Square. We are at no. 43 on your right.

By Rail:

Take the Merseyrail network (clearly signposted at all the main line stations) to Hamilton Square Station. Turn right when you exit the station - Hamilton Square is a short walk ahead. We are at no. 43 on the far side of the Square.
